'Int'l assistance will help resolve Rohingya crisis'

Staff Correspondent: "Bangladesh will be able to resolve the ongoing Rohingya crisis peacefully with the assistance of international community," Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina told the Parliament on Wednesday.

The Prime Minister said this while replying to a query from Abdul Matin of Moulvibazar-2 in the National Parliament.

Hasina said, "I firmly believe that we will be able to resolve the ongoing crisis peacefully with the assistance of international community amid various adversities."

Hasina, also the leader of the House, said the Rohingya crisis in Rakhine state of Myanmar has turned complex in the recent days due to the military crackdown and violence.
