Injury rules Shafiul out for 2nd Test against West Indies

Sports Desk: Pacer Shafiul Islam has been ruled out for the second and final Test match against the West Indies due to injury.

The test match is set to start at Sabina Park, Kingston in Jamaica at 9:00pm (Bangladesh Time) on Thursday.

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed the news through an email message on Thursday noon.

It said Shafiul suffered an ankle injury during training Tuesday.  This type of injury needs at least five weeks to recovery. As a result, he is unavailable for the second and final Test match.
