Investigation report against 11 DB men

Staff Correspondent: The investigation against 11 men of Metropolitan Detective Police has been completed in connection with the allegations of taking away mobile phones and money at a Kafrul club in the capital.

The investigation report was submitted to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Mia on Thursday.

On April 18, an operation was carried at New Wave Club in Kafrul's Ibrahimpur Poolpar area. At the time, the question of the validity of the operation was raised by the inner people. DB policemen were accused of snatching huge amount of money and mobile sets from the club.

A three-member inquiry committee was formed to verify the allegation. The committee submitted the report on Thursday night.

On Friday morning, Joint Commissioner of the DB Police, Krishnapada Roy told risingbd, "The report has been submitted after the investigation. But it is not possible to say what is in the report. Commissioner can say about it. I cannot say anything beyond that”.
