Ivy being treated at Labaid hospital

Staff Correspondent: Mayor of Narayanganj City Corporation (NCC) Dr Selina Hayat Ivy has been hospitalized after she fell sick due to low blood pressure at her office in Narayanganj on Thursday.

She was brought to Dhaka and admitted to Labaid Hospital for treatment at 5:05pm.

An official at the emergency department of the hospital said she is undergoing treatment at the coronary care unit (CCU) of the hospital.

She has been suffering from breathing problem and cardiac complications, said the official.

Earlier on January 16, Ivy along with several others sustained injuries in a factional clash between her supporters and the supporters of Awami League MP Shamim Osman during a hawker eviction drive in Narayanganj city.
