JS goes into 22nd session today

Staff Correspondent: The 22nd session of the 10th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) will begin at 5pm today.
President M Abdul Hamid convened the session exercising his power bestowed upon him by article 72 (1) of the Constitution.
Prior to the session, the business advisory committee of parliament will hold a meeting with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair.
The committee will fix the duration and businesses of the session.
Earlier, the 21st session (budget session) of incumbent parliament was prorogued on July 12 last.
A total of 22 bills – 11 new and 11 old -- will be discussed in the session. The new bills include: Road Transport Bill-2018, Digital Security Bill.
