JSC exams to start from Nov 1

Secretariat Correspondent: Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations for the students of class VIII will begin on November 1.

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid said this while he was exchanging Eid greetings with the officials of secondary and higher secondary  department at the Secretariat on Monday.

All preparations have been taken for this. Apart from this, books will be distributed among students of all educational institutions on January 1 next year. All preparations are being taken for this, he said.

Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department Md. Sohrab Hossain, Additional Secretaries Mohiuddin Khan and Abdullah Al Hasan Chowdhury, Chairman of NCTB Professor Narayan Chandra Saha, Chairman of Dhaka Education Board Prof Mahbubur Rahman, Project Director Md. Mahamud-ul-Haq, officers of all levels of secondary and higher secondary department were present.
