JU student suspended over sexual harassment

JU Correspondent: The authorities of Jahangirnagar University (JU) suspended a 4th year student over the allegation of sexually assaulting a junior female student of the university.
A notice, signed by JU Registrar Abu Bakar Siddique, confirmed the matter on Wednesday.
The decision was taken based on a primary investigation report prepared by the proctorial team.
The incident took place at the university’s Bottola area around 11:00pm on Tuesday.
Suspended Shahed Islam Alamin is a fourth year student of Geography and Environment department.
