Jaha Alam: HC wants to see persons who responsible

Staff Correspondent: The High Court wants to see the persons who are responsible for Jaha Alam’s imprisonment.

The High Court has also sought Anti-Corruption Commission’s (ACC) probe report on Jaha Alam who wrongly suffered imprisonment for three years. The court has ordered the ACC to submit the report before it by May 2.

The High Court bench of Justice FRM Nazmul Ahsan and Justice KM Kamrul Kader passed the order on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Jaha Alam, who was released from jail on February 4, appeared before the High Court bench for placing his statement in the morning as per its April 10 order.

But the judges did not hear his statement as the relevant file of the case was not produced before the bench.

Jaha Alam was wrongly imprisoned in 26 cases for three years because of an identity mess-up. He got released from jail on February 4 following a HC order.
