Juba League activist killed in Cox’s Bazar clash

Cox’s Bazar Correspondent: A Jubo League activist was killed and eight others injured in a clash between Awami League and BNP supporters at Pekua Upazila in Cox’s Bazar.

The deceased was Mohammad Abdullah, 23, son of Abul Kashem, hailed from Uludia Para of Rajakhali union of the upazila.

Dr Saber Ahmed, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of Pekua upazila health complex said, five people were taken to the hospital. Meanwhile, Mohammad Abdullah was found dead.

Confirming the matter, Cox’s Bazar police super ABM Masud Hossain said, a Juba League activist was killed during a clash between Awami League and BNP activists.
