Juba League leader hacked dead in Keraniganj

Staff Correspondent: A local Juba League Leader was hacked dead by miscreants in Keraniganj in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Nahid Hossain Gazi, 40, Agan Nagar union in Keraniganj.

Sources said that unidentified miscreants attacked him with lethal weapon at 3:00am on Tuesday. At one stage, he managed to flee from the attackers with injury. Hearing hue and cry, locals rushed him Mitfort Hospital and shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Confirming the matter, South Keraniganj police station Officer-in-Charge Monirul Islam told risingbd.com that investigation is underway in this regard.
