Senior Correspondent: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has returned home after over three months of stay in the United Kingdom (UK).
She reached Hazrat Shahjajal International Airport by an Emirates Airlines flight at about 5:05pm on Wednesday.
BNP Chairperson's media wing members Sayrul Kabir Khan and Shamsuddin Didar confirmed this to risingbd.com.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia left London's Heathrow Airport for Bangladesh at about 10:15pm (London time) on Tuesday night.
On July 15, Khaleda went to the UK for ‘medical treatment’ as well as unofficial meetings with her elder son Tarique Rahman. She was accompanied by her private secretary ABM Abdus Sattar and domestic help Fatema during her London trip.
Khaleda celebrated the Eid-ul-Azha there with her family members, including Tarique Rahman, his wife and daughter and the wife and daughters of her younger son late Arafat Rahman Koko in London.
