Khaleda Zia undergoes CT scan

Staff Correspondent: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia underwent Computed Tomography or CT scan at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital on Wednesday.

BSMMU Director Brig Gen Dr Abdullah Al Harun confirmed the news.

On February 8, Dhaka’s special judge court-5 sentenced BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia to a five-year rigorous imprisonment in Zia Orphanage Trust graft case.

Since, she had been in the Old-Dhaka Central Jail on Nazimuddin Road in the capital. On October 6, she was admitted to BSMMU for treatment in line with the court order.

Earlier, a five-member medical board was formed for her treatment. The medical team started her treatment on October 10. The board, however, has yet not disclosed clearly about her diseases or treatment.
