Khaleda files appeal seeking acquittal in Orphanage Case

Staff Correspondent: BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has filed an appeal petition seeking acquittal in Zia Orphanage Graft Case.
The High Court enhanced her five-year jail term to 10 years that was handed down by a lower court in the corruption case.
Khaleda’s lawyers filed the petition with the concerned department of High Court on Thursday.
