Khaleda has to accept court verdict: Ershad

Staff Correspondent, Mymensingh: Former President and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad said, "We don't believe on supportive government. According to the constitution, upcoming national parliamentary election will be taken place."

He made the assertion while addressing newsmen after a programme in Mymensingh Sadar on Friday noon.

Ershad said, "Khaleda Zia has to accept court verdict. We joined elections staying jail and got 50 seats. So, where is the problem to join polls staying in jail?"

Religious Affairs Minister Principal Motiur Rahman, Jatiya Party secretary general ABM Ruhul Amin Howladar and others attended the function.
