Khaleda places wreath at Zia’s grave

Staff Correspondent: BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia has paid homage to party founder and slain president Ziaur Rahman by placing a wreath at his grave, marking his 81th birth anniversary.

The BNP chief along with party leaders and activists went to Chandrima Udyan at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar at around 11:30am on Thursday and paid homage to the slain president by placing wreaths at the grave.

Khaleda offered a munajat there seeking salvation of the departed soul of Zia.
