‘Khaleda ready to sacrifice anything for democracy’

Senior Correspondent: Referring about BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s health condition in jail, the party secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said she is well enough and remains firm to sacrifice anything to reinstate democracy in the country.

The BNP leader told this to reporters after meeting with the party chief Khaleda Zia at the Old Central Jail on Nazimuddin Road in Dhaka on Wednesday afternoon.

He also said, “BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has instructed the party leaders to continue the ongoing “peaceful” movement ignoring any type of instigation from any quarter.”
