Khaleda sits with BNP policymakers

Senior Reporter: Ahead of her UK tour, BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia sat with its standing committee members, the highest policymaking body of the party, on Thursday night.
The meeting was held at the BNP chief's Gulshan office around 9.30pm with Khaleda in the chair.
At the meeting, she provided necessary directions to the party policymakers and advised them on how to strengthen the party activities in her absence as she is going to the United Kingdom (UK).
A leader close to Khaleda said she is scheduled to leave Dhaka for London at 7pm on Saturday by an Emirates Airline flight.
He also said the BNP chief will receive eye and knee treatment there.
