Staff Correspondent: The High Court (HC) has extended the bail prayer of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia for one year in two defamation (Dhaka and Narail) cases.
The High Court bench of Justice Muhammad Abdul Hafiz and Justice Mohiuddin Shamim passed the order on Tuesday following a prayer filed by Khaleda's lawyers, seeking an extension of her bail.
