Khulna, Gazipur city polls to be successful, CEC hopes

Staff Correspondent: Chief Election Commissioner KM Nurul Huda has said, "The Parliament election is very close. Voting in Khulna and Gazipur cities will be held on May 15. So, the Election Commission is taking the polls seriously."

The CEC came up with the assertion while addressing a discussion meeting with law enforcers at Nirbachon Bhaban in the capital on Thursday morning.

Aiming the law enforcers, CEC said, "The local government elections and others polls were successful due to the assistance of law enforcers. We expect that the upcoming elections also will be successful."

Election secretaries and top officials of law enforcing agencies attended the function.
