'Knowledge-based society should be made'

Gopalganj Correspondent: Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman MP said that Knowledge-based society should be made through quality education.

The minister made the opinion while addressing a programme at Muksudpur upazila parishad field in Gopalganj on Friday.

"Mothers should come forward to educate their children. Only a mother can build an educated nation," he said.

Aiming guardians he said, "Provide note books alongside tiffin box and search details about their education visiting the schools after few days. Only then, your children would get  education."

Gopalganj district administration Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman presided over the programme where Awami League presidium member and lawmaker Lt Col (retd) Muhammad Faruk Khan, upazila nirbahi officer Taslima Ali and others spoke.
