Krishi Bank officer among 2 arrested with bribery

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested a Bangladesh Krishi Bank officer among two at red handed with bribery.

The arrestees were known as loan officer of the bank Hafiz Ullah and security guard Ahsan Ullah.

A special team of ACC led by Abu Taleb, Deputy Director of Noakhali Integrated District Office, arrested them with Tk 8,000 on Wednesday afternoon.

ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the news to risingbd.

The arrestees were on duty at Kadirpur Branch of Bangladesh Krishi Bank at Begumganj in Noakhali.

Moshiur Rahman, Assistant Director of Noakhali office, filed a case in this connection with Begumganj Police Station.
