LGED engineer arrested while taking bribe

Staff Correspondent: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has arrested an LGED engineer while taking bribe.
A team of ACC led by Dhaka Divisional director Nasim Anwar caught deputy assistant engineer Ehteshamul Haque at red-handed with bribe money conducting a drive at his Sonargaon office in Narayanganj on Thursday afternoon.
ACC's Public Relations Officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya confirmed the news to risingbd.
He said, “A team of ACC conducted the drive after getting allegation that Ehteshamul demanded bribe to help getting contracting work. ACC team found Tk 50,000 of bribe with him.”
