Law should be enacted for people's welfare: PM

Desk Report: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that people are the source of power. So, laws should be enacted for the sake of people's welfare.

The premier made the opinion while inaugurating a newly constructed Judges Complex, the residential complex for Supreme Court judges in city's Kakrail area around 11:30am.

She said, "BNP handed over the national flag to anti-liberation group. But, we removed the blame punishing war criminals."

Sheikh Hasina said that the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman did everything for the country. He rebuilt the independent country within 3.5 years only.

Minister for Housing and Public Works Engineer Mosharraf Hossain was in the chair while Minister for Law and Justice Advocate Anisul Haq was present as a guest.
