'List of candidates not being revealed for strategic cause'

Staff Correspondent: Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader said 231 candidates picked by its board have been given nomination letters to contest the upcoming general election slated for December 30 but the list of those candidates could not be disclosed at this time due to strategic cause.

The AL leader made the announcement while briefing reporters at party President Sheikh Hasina's political office in Dhanmondi on Monday.
