MP Habibur Rahman Mollah acquitted of graft case

Staff Correspondent: The ruling Awami League (AL) lawmaker (Dhaka-5) Habibur Rahman Mollah has been acquitted of a graft case as charges brought against him were not proved in the case.
Judge Joynal Abedin of the Special Judge Court-10 of Dhaka handed down the order in absentia on Thursday.
Habibur Rahman Mollah could not appear before the court due to physical illness.
The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the case against the lawmaker on October 3, 2007 for concealing information about properties worth over Tk 2 crore in his wealth statement submitted to the ACC.
