Mahbub Talukder walks out of EC meeting

Staff Correspondent:  Election Commissioner Mahbub Talukder has walked out of a meeting on the next parliamentary election at the Election Commission by giving a note of dissent.

Mahbub Talukder walked out of the meeting 10 minutes after it began around 11:00am on Monday, placing a note of dissent and clarifying his position.

After getting out of the meeting, he went to his room at the election commission.

Earlier on August 30, Mahbub Talukder walked out of the meeting within 20 minutes, giving a note of dissent on EC's move regarding use of electronic voting machines (EVMs) in the national polls.
