Mahbubul A Khalid’s song on World Cup Football released

Staff Correspondent: A Bengali song on 2018 FIFA World Cup that contains the message of amity among people around the globe has been released on online.

Written and composed by Mahbubul A Khalid, popular young singers Close-up1 fame Pulak Adhikary and ‘Bangladeshi Idol’ Sanzida Mahmood Nandita rendered their voices to the song under the music arrangement of Atikur Rahman Roman.

The song ‘Bishwa Tomar Dristi Ferao’ (World, turn your eyes) has been released on khalidsangeet.com, a website that contains songs and poems of poet, lyricist and composer Mahbubul A Khalid on Saturday. A music video of the song has also been released on YouTube channel of Khalid Sangeet.

The song begun with the appealing lines “World, turn your eyes to football not to power/Let’s all go together to playground forgetting all enmities.”

Speaking about, singer Nandita said that the topics of the songs written by Mahbubul A Khalid are a bit different and his lyrics carry strong messages. She hoped that the new song on World Cup Football would gain huge response from listeners.

Lyricist and composer Mahbubul A Khalid noted that sport is an effective way to develop equality and harmony among people. Especially Football World Cup can play a vital role in creating amity.
