Mahbubur indicted in Ranada Prosad Saha’s murder

Staff Correspondent: Md. Mahabubur Rahman of Tangail has been indicted in the murder of Danbir Ranada Prosad Saha (RP Saha) in 1971.
The trial has formally begun as International Crimes Tribunal accepted the charge sheet on Wednesday.
The hearing on the case will be held on April.
RP Saha, a philanthropist, was born to a poor family at Mirzapur village near the sub-divisional town of Tangail of the erstwhile Mymensingh district on 1896.
Later, the Pakistani army with the help of their local collaborators abducted RP Saha from his Narayanganj residence on May 7, 1971 and subsequently put him to death.
