Maiden meeting of new cabinet on Jan 21

Secretariat Correspondent: The maiden meeting of the new cabinet will be held next Monday (January 21).

Md. Rezaul Ahsan, additional secretary to the cabinet division, confirmed the matter.

It has been learnt that the cabinet meeting will be held at the Prime Minister’s Office at 10:00am on the day.

After the meeting, the cabinet secretary will brief reporters around 12:00pm.

On January 7, a 47-member cabinet, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, took oath following Awami League’s massive victory in the 11^th parliamentary election.

Apart from the Prime Minister, there are 24 ministers, 19 state ministers and three deputy ministers in the new cabinet.
