Mainul sued under digital security act

Staff Correspondent: Former caretaker government adviser Barrister Mainul Husein has been sued under the digital security act for his derogatory comments to journalist Masuda Bhatti.

Sumona Akter Lily, Youths and sports affairs member of Awami League’s sub-committee, filed the case with the court of Judge Mohammad Assams Joglul Hossain of Bangladesh Cyber Crime Tribunal on Wednesday.

The court ordered Gulshan Police Station to accept as case document after filing her statement.

Mentionable, Barrister Mainul Husein on Tuesday landed in jail in another case filed in this connection.
