Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi
Staff Correspondent: Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is scheduled to arrive in Dhaka on Sunday on a one-day brief visit to witness the plight of Rohingya people in Cox’s Bazar.
A foreign ministry source confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.
Hamidi is slated to leave for Cox’s Bazar immediately after reaching Dhaka.
After returning from Cox’s Bazar to Dhaka, the Malaysian leader will also meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali.
During the meetings, Hamidi will discuss Rohingya crisis alongside other bilateral issues.
The Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister is scheduled to leave the capital on Sunday night.
