Man injured in Bangshal fire dies at DMCH

Staff Correspondent: A man who sustained burn injuries in a fire that broke out at a shoe factory in capital's Bangshal, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased was identified as Al Amin, 20, a factory worker.

Confirming the matter, Resident surgeon of DMCH burn unit, Dr Partha Shankar Paul said that Al Amin, who received 95 percent burn injuries, died at the burn unit of DMCH around 4.00pm.

Earlier in the day, at least three workers were burnt as a fire broke out at a shoe manufacturing factory in city’s Bangshal area.
