Man, nephew drown in Karnaphuli river

Staff Correspondent, Chattogram: A man and his nephew drowned in the Karnaphuli river on Thursday afternoon.
The deceased are Hamed Hasan Ador, 30, and his nephew Anoarul Arefin Anu, 19.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kaptai Thana Syed Mohammad Nur said they drowned in the river while bathing on Thursday afternoon.
On information, fire service personnel and naval divers rushed to the spot and rescued the dead body of Anoarul Arefin Anu. Body of Hamed Hasan Ador is not rescued yet.
