Man shot in capital

Staff Correspondent: Masked criminals shot and injured a salesman in Nababpur area under Wari police station in the capital on Saturday afternoon.

The injured is identified as Selim Mia, 45, a salesman of a hardware shop.

Sources said that four masked men entered into the shop around 4:30pm and started altercation with a salesman. Meanwhile, other salesmen of the shop chased the intruders. At one stage, the masked men fled the scene opening fire, leaving Salim Mia bullet injured.

Later, he was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
