Marcel becomes title sponsor of corporate cricket

Staff Correspondent: Marcel, the local consumer-based electronics' goods manufacturer, has become the title sponsor of seventh T20 Corporate Cricket.

The co-sponsor of the series is Energypack and thereby the series will be named as 'Marcel 7th T20 Corporate Cricket Tournament-2017', powered by Energypack.

The tournament will begin on Friday (December 8) at Dhaka Residential Model School Ground and Shyamoli field with the participation of renowned corporate houses of the country.

ASEMS will arrange the whole event by providing all the necessary logistics support. All the 16 teams, split into four groups, will compete in the meet. The final match will be held on January 12.

Expressing gratitude, ASEMS Chief Executive Mohammad Mahmudur Rahman said, "We are involved with Marcel in many ways. We are working with them from last four years. We have a good tie with them. There is nothing to say separately. They participate in all events. Hoping we will get them beside us in future."

Popular online news portal www.risingbd.com is one of the media partners of the event. Nestlé is the beverage partner of the tournament.

Earlier, Walton Group won championship of the 6th T20 Corporate Cricket Tournament under the leadership of skipper Uday Hakim.
