Marcel showcases enormous frost, non-frost fridges following Eid

Milton Ahmed: Renowned local electronics brand ‘Marcel’ targeted 25 percent sales growth on refrigerators in the holy month of Ramadan as the demand and trust of the consumers for its products are gradually mounting.

To achieve the target, Marcel has added new model of Tempered Glass Door Refrigerator with the existing product line and showcasing numerous models of enormous frost and non-frost fridges following Eid-ul-Fitr.

Ujjal Kumar Barua, head of Marcel's logistic monitoring department, said the demand for refrigerators rises up every year during Ramadan. However, this year, the demand for Marcel brand refrigerators is relatively high, as the brand has achieved customer satisfaction for the inclusion of intelligent inverter technology, use of R600a gas as refrigerant, affordable in prices and above all providing best after sales service. He informed that Marcel has released various new models of frost and non-frost fridges among which Tempered Glass Door Refrigerator is most remarkable.

He said, blended with attractive design and colors, the Tempered Glass Door Refrigerators are being manufactured using state-of-the art technology and latest machineries. 'Nano Healthcare' technology is used to keep the food fresh automatically preventing bacterial infestation while negative ion retains the taste of food and keep them odorless.

According to sources at Marcel, the local brand had attained 44 percent growth in fridge sales. This year, it targets to sell 2 lakh pieces of refrigerators in local market, which is 42 percent higher than the previous year. 25 models of world-class frost and non-frost Marcel brand refrigerators are available in the market among which 430-liter non-frost fridge has become prime attraction to customers. Various new products including 217-liter non-frost and 107-liter bar fridge are in the upcoming models. Marcel authorities hoped that the new Tempered Glass Door Refrigerator will be a 'hot-cake' to customers in this Ramadan.

Engineers at Marcel said that their inverter technology based non-frost fridge is 50 percent more energy efficient than normal fridge. These fridges are comparatively soundless and do not accumulate ice inside. Engineers at Marcel Refrigerator Quality Control department said that every Marcel refrigerator is released in the market after ensuring highest quality from international standard verification agency NUSDAT Universal Testing Lab.

Authorities said, the use of Intelligent Inverter technology, Nano Healthcare and Anti-Fungal Door Gasket technology, one-year replacement guarantee, ten years guarantee for compressors, maximum 36-month easy installment facility and suitability with the local weather conditions helped Marcel refrigerators to achieve popularity among the customers.

Informing that, this year, the sales of refrigerators exceeded their expectation, Mosharof Hossain Razib, head of marketing (North) of Marcel, said, they enjoyed 31 percent sales growth in January to May this year compared to the 5 months of the same period in last year. He hoped of escalating the growth of sales.

According to Shamim Al Mamun, marketing head (South) of Marcel, plenty of spaces for preserving food along with manufacturing and marketing correct size refrigerators at affordable prices are the main reasons for the rapid growth of Marcel.

Mentionable, Marcel is delivering fast and quality service to customers under ISO certified Service Management System through 67 service centers across the country where more than 2,500 engineers and technicians are working.

Besides, Marcel is providing customers home service for fridges which already been widely appreciated. Customers can avail after sales service all over the year by just dialing 16267. Online service is going to open soon where customers would get the service from home, as all data will be stored on a server.
