Marcel showcasing about 300 models of appliances in DITF

Staff Reporter: Local brand Marcel is showcasing and selling out nearly 300 models of different sorts of electronics, electrical, home and kitchen appliances in the month-long Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) - 2019, started on January 9 at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.

To attract the visitors and buyers of the fair, Marcel Pavilion was decorated with around 30 types of products like frost and non-frost refrigerators, freezers, LED and Smart televisions, air conditioners, washing machine, microwave ovens, room heater, ceiling fans, wall fans, rechargeable fans, kitchen cookware and others sorts of home appliances.

In DITF-19, Marcel set up a 2-storey pavilion with attractive design on a total of five thousand square feet area under the general pavilion category. The pavilion was established following the green technology method that means 90 percent of the used materials for structural, exterior and interior decorations would be reusable. To ensure the electrical, fire and other safety issues, Marcel used fire resistant heavy steel frames, aluminum composite panel and glasses.

Md Sayful Islam, In-charge of Marcel Pavilion, said, they are showcasing wide ranges of appliances in the DITF so that the fair’s buyers would be able to pick up their all necessary electronics, electrical, home and kitchen appliances under one roof.

They brought new models of various types of appliances with lucrative designs and colours on the occasion of new year and DITF-19, he said adding that upcoming models of frost and non-frost refrigerators, gas stoves, iron, rechargeable lamps, torches and batteries.



At the first floor of the Marcel Pavilion, total of 72 huge energy saving fridges are showcased, of which 58 models of frost, 2 models of non-frost and 12 models of freezers.

Marcel is displaying total of 7 models of huge energy saving world’s latest technologies’ air conditioners in the DITF like IoT based Smart AC, inverter and ionizer technologies ACs.

In addition, Marcel Pavilion was decorated with 72 models of LED and Smart TVs; 6 models of microwave ovens, pressure cookers and irons; 27 models of LPG and NG-run single and double burners’ gas stoves; 24 models of LED lights; 14 models of blenders; 9 models of rechargeable table fans; 7 models of rechargeable batteries; 5 models of electric kettles, kitchen cookware and ceiling fans; 4 models of room heater; 2 models of voltage stabilizers and auto voltage protectors, washing machine, induction cooker and wall fan.

Dr. Md Shakhawat Hossen, head of sales of Marcel, said, the customer’s preference to Marcel products are sharply going up. In the DITF, the visitors and buyers will express their great interest in Marcel Pavilion, he hoped and mentioned that Marcel brought a large number of models of appliances considering the customers’ interest.
