Mayor Annisul Huq currently out of danger

Staff Correspondent: Mayor of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Annisul Huq, who was admitted to a hospital after he fell sick in central London, is currently out of danger.

The personal secretary of the mayor, Mizanur Rahman said, "The mayor is now out of danger. He would return home after Eid."

Mizanur Rahman also said that Annisul Huq was suffering from cerebral vasculitis. On August 13, he was admitted at a hospital in London. Doctors in the hospital formed a medical board for the treatment of Annisul Huq.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had inquired into the treatment of Annisul Huq and talked to the wife of mayor. Meanwhile, the Premier wished his early recovery.

Earlier, on 28 July, Annisul Huq visited London for personal purpose. His elder daughter lived there. He was admitted to the hospital as he suddenly fell ill.
