Medicine worth Tk1.6cr seized at Dhaka airport

Staff Correspondent: A Customs Intelligence team seized a consignment of illegal medicine worth about Tk 1.6 crore at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Tuesday.

The seized medicines are- Albumin inj 50ml, Lantus  solostar ing, Neoral 100mg,Levemir 100 ml, Anxate Flumazel cap, Rhophylac 300mg, Victroza  6mg, Euthrox 50 mg tablet Cipralex 10 mg, Lepra Levetiractam 500 mg, Mimpara  30mg, Novorapid 100 uml, Cellcept 500 mg, One Alpha 25 mg and Salazopyrin 500ml.

Sources said that tipped off, a team of customs intelligence conducted a drive in the airport after the flight SV-808 landed at the airport and found the banned medicine in an abandoned condition.
