Militant Saiful's father, friend arrested

Staff Correspondent, Khulna: Suspected militant Saiful's father and his childhood friend were shown arrested in a case filed for subversive activities.

The detainees are - Saiful's father Abul Khayer Mollah and his friend Abdulla Bin Mosaddek Sami, 22.

Dumuria police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Habil Hossain confirmed the matter to risingbd.com.

The detainees were sent before the court, the OC said.

Saiful, a Neo JMB militant suspect was killed during a raid in the capital's Hotel Olio International on Tuesday. Police claimed that he had plans to carry out an attack on the crowd paying homage to Bangabandhu on National Mourning Day at Dhanmondi 32.
