Minister urges militants to resume normal life

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said, "Those who are getting involved in militant activities are doing wrong. You will be given all sorts of cooperation if you come back to normal life."

The minister said this while speaking as the chief guest at a function near Tejgaon rail gate area in the capital on Sunday noon.

While speaking at the function, Asaduzzaman said, "The militancy is rising globally which we should be realised. An evil force is attempting to turn Muslims into militants. We all have to stand against this force. The force is involving young generation to militancy in name of Islam. Apparently they are doing wrong."

About those involved in the militancy, the minister said, "You come back and resume normal life. Islam never supports militancy or killing people. Law enforcers will give you all sorts of cooperation if you return to normal life."

The home minister urged youths involved in the militancy to return to normal life.
