Ministers can pick APSs of their choice

Secretariat Correspondent: New members of the cabinet can be able to pick Assistant Private Secretaries (APSs) of their own choice.
The matter was confirmed by State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain on Thursday.
“Ministers, state ministers and deputy ministers can appoint APS of their own choice. But the government will appoint Private Secretaries (PSs) to them from now on,” Farhad said.
The public administration ministry on Wednesday selected officials for appointment as PS in line with a directive from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
