Mirza Fakhrul’s motorcade comes under attack in Ctg

Staff Correspondent: Miscreants attacked the motorcade of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in Isakhali area under Rangunia upazila in Chittagong on his way to Rangamati on Sunday morning.

The incident took place around 11:00am. The BNP delegation was scheduled to visit landslide-ravaged areas of Chittagong and Rangamati later in the day.

Kaptai upazila parishad chairman Dildar Hossain confirmed the matter.

Chittagong north district unit Chhatra Dal senior vice-president Anisur Uddin said that a team of BNP led by its secretary general was travelling to Rangamati to console and support the victims of landslide there. Meanwhile, a group of miscreants attack them when the motorcade reached Isakhali, leaving 10 people injured.
