'Missing three were detained on specific information'

Staff Correspondent: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said that Education Minister's Personal Officer (PO) and two other missing men were detained on specific information.

The minister made the assertion while addressing a programme on the occasion of Saraswati Puja at Dhaka High School on Monday.

He said, "The detectives detained them on the basis of specific information. Investigation has been started in this regard already."

Steps will be taken after lodging case against them, he added.

Earlier on Sunday, Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested the three people - Khaled Hasan Matin, the owner of Lakehead Grammar School in Gulshan, Nasir Uddin, 35, Upper Division Assistant (UDA) of Education Ministry and personal officer (PO) of Education minister, were detained form the capital.
