Mohiuddin Chy airlifted to Dhaka

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: Ailing former Chittagong mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury, also the president of port city unit of Awami League, has been shifted to Dhaka for better treatment.

Family sources said that Mohiuddin Chowdhury was admitted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Max Hospital in Chittagong as he fell ill around 3:00pm on Saturday.

Chittagong Mayor AZM Nasiruddin went to Max Hospital to visit Mohiuddin this morning. 

Later, a helicopter carrying the ailing former mayor left the port city from M A Aziz Stadium on Sunday noon.
