Moon sighting committee meets Friday

Senior Reporter: The National Moon Sighting Committee is going to meet Friday evening to set the date for Eid-ul-Fitr after reviewing the moon sighting information.
Religious Affairs Minister and Chairman of the committee Prof Motiur Rahman will preside over the meeting to be held at 7:15pm in the conference room of Islamic Foundation in the city.
People have been urged to inform the committee over the following phone and fax numbers or any other way if they see the moon anywhere in Bangladesh sky.
The phone numbers are 9559493, 9559643, 9555947, 9556407 and 9558337, while the fax numbers are 9563397 and 9555951.
