Mosharraf Hossain made new NBR Chairman

Staff Correspondent: Former senior secretary Dr. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan has been named as the chairman of National Board of Revenue (NBR) for the next two years on a contractual basis.

He was also made Senior Secretary of the Internal Resources Division during the tenure.

The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.

Mosharraf replaced M Nojibur Rahman who was made Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister.

As per the notification, the appointment will come into effect from the date of his joining the post.
