Mother-son murder, 2 held

Staff Correspondent: A case has been filed over the murders of a mother and her son simultaneously in the capital’s Kakrail area.

Ashraf Ali, a brother of slain Shamsunnahar,  filed the case with Ramna Police Station Thursday night.

Ramna Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Mainul Islam said that some unnamed people including Abdul Karim, the husband, Karim’s second wife Sharmin Mukta and Mukta’s brother Jony.

Karim and Mukta were detained earlier.

However, Karim’s first wife Shamsunnar and son Shaon were found slaughtered at their residence in Kakrail on Wednesday evening.
