Staff Correspondent: The appellate division of the Supreme Court (SC) dismissed the review petition of BNP Standing Committee Member Barrister Moudud Ahmed over the Gulshan house.
A five-member bench of the Appellate Division led by Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha passed the order on Sunday morning.
Following the order of the apex court, Moudud Ahmed will have to leave his Gulshan residence.
Barrister Moudud moved his case before the court by himself while Attorney general Mahbube Alam stood for the state.
Anti-Corruption Commission filed the case with Gulshan Police Station on December 17, 2013 against Moudud and his brother Monzur on charges of grabbing government land worth over Tk 300 crore in Gulshan.
