Mridha among 3 railway staff jailed for 4 yrs

Staff Correspondent, Chittagong: A Chittagong court has given four years’ jail to three Bangladesh Railway officials including former General Manager Yusuf Ali Mridha in two corruption cases involving recruitment.

Divisional Special Judge Mir Ruhul Amin passed the order on Thursday noon.

Other two persons are former Senior Welfare Officer Golam Kibria and former Additional Chief Engineer Hafizur Rahman.

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed the two corruption cases with Kotwali Police Station in the port city against the trio on September 13, 2012.
